False Prophecies
Today, leading up to the centenary of Ellen White’s death, we pray for Adventism, which has, several times, set dates for the return of Christ, and has followed a prophetess whose prophecies were not in harmony with the Bible, and turned out to be false prophecies. May the realisation of this fact bring them closer to the truth.
I have seen that the 1843 chart was directed by the hand of the Lord, and that it should not be altered; that the figures were as He wanted them.

I also saw that God was in the proclamation of the time in 1843. It was His design to arouse the people and bring them to a testing point, where they should decide for or against truth.

Ellen White, mother of Adventism,
pray for those who follow what you taught during your life on earth.
Now that you are in God’s presence, you can see the sad reality
of the errors you brought your children.
Together with us, ask God to send his grace on the Adventist church,
so that it might see the beauty and love and truth
to be found in the original Christian faith,
and return to the faith of the Apostles,
the faith recorded in the Bible.
