Its most foundational conspiracy theory is that they will be persecuted for keeping the sabbath on Saturday, and will be forced to worship on Sunday alongside Jews, Muslims, Hindus, and atheists. Will it be accurate, or as accurate as the corrupted “Clear Word Bible<\/em>“?
A Seventh-day Adventist in the UK has come up with computer games with Christian (Adventist?) themes. Trailer here on YouTube<\/a>. There doesn’t seem to be a level where Adventists defend themselves against Catholics trying to force them to worship on Sunday alongside Jews, Muslims, Hindus, and atheists. Maybe that’s still being developed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Disappointment, outrage over papal document on the Amazon<\/a><\/strong> – National Catholic Reporter<\/em>
Querida Amazonia<\/em> is the name of Pope Francis’ response to the Amazonian synod. I am happy with this if Pope Francis really thinks it’s not a good idea at this time. And, given the inability of many to adapt to such a situation, it really probably isn’t a good idea at this time. Things are very sensitive at this time with the anti-Francis crowd doing all the yelling they can.
It’s also true that this was about the needs of the Amazonians, not about celibacy. The celibacy issue – allowing married men to become priests to more quickly provide them with priests – was an important one, but not the only one.
But a warning: see our history in China – they weren’t “properly westernised\u201d, the Dominicans and Franciscans didn’t like this and won the debate against the Jesuits, and by the time Pope Pius XII solved the problem a few centuries later, we’d lost China, which would otherwise be Catholic today. We risk losing the Amazon too. Not right now. Time will let this progress to fruition, I think. The wheels are in motion. It CAN change, and maybe it will. Married priests ARE possible. We know that.
In the mean time, the Amazonians need our prayers. I really doubt Pope Francis is saying “No married priests for you!<\/em>\u201d and then turning his back to do nothing else. Things will happen for them. Just not as fast and as spectacularly as allowing married priests in 2020 AD would have been.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
