The Investigative Judgement<\/span><\/h2>\n

Today, leading up to the centenary of Ellen White’s death, we pray for Adventism, which teaches strange doctrines not known to the original Christian faith. Jesus was said to be returning in 1843, and later 1844, and when he failed, the doctrine of the Investigative Judgement was developed to cover up that error in predicting Jesus’ return. May God lead them to realise that many of their teachings are found neither in the Bible, nor in the original faith of the Apostles, and, in fact, contradict them.<\/p>\n

In 1844, at the end of the prophetic period of 2300 days, He entered the second and last phase of His atoning ministry. It is a work of investigative judgment which is part of the ultimate disposition of all sin, typified by the cleansing of the ancient Hebrew sanctuary on the Day of Atonement.<\/span>

The Lord has shown me in vision, that Jesus rose up, and shut the door, and entered the Holy of Holies, at the 7th month 1844; but Michael’s standing up (Dan. 12:1) to deliver his people, is in the future.<\/span>

Ellen White, mother of Adventism,<\/span>
\npray for those who follow what you taught during your life on earth.<\/span>
\nNow that you are in God’s presence, you can see the sad reality<\/span>
\nof the errors you brought your children.<\/span>
\nTogether with us, ask God to send his grace on the Adventist church,<\/span>
\nso that it might see the beauty and love and truth<\/span>
\nto be found in the original Christian faith, <\/span>
\nand return to the faith of the Apostles,<\/span>
\nthe faith recorded in the Bible.<\/span>
\nAmen<\/span><\/p>\n

Holy Michael the Archangel,<\/span>
\nPray for us.<\/span><\/p>\n

Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob,<\/span>
\nPray for us.<\/span><\/p>\n

Joseph and the Patriarchs,<\/span>
\nPray for us.<\/span><\/p>\n

Moses and all the Old Testament Saints,<\/span>
\nPray for us.<\/span><\/p>\n

Saint Peter, Saint Paul, and all the Holy Apostles,<\/span>
\nPray for us.<\/span><\/p>\n

St Ignatius of Antioch, St Polycarp, St Justin Martyr,<\/span>
\nPray for us.<\/span><\/p>\n

Souls of all those who served God in the Adventist church,<\/span>
\nPray for us.<\/span><\/p>\n

Holy Souls in Purgatory,<\/span>
\nPray for us.<\/span><\/p>\n

Anima Christi<\/span><\/p>\n

Soul of Christ, make me holy.<\/span>
\nBody of Christ, save me.<\/span>
\nBlood of Christ, inebriate me.<\/span>
\nWater from the side of Christ, wash me.<\/span>
\nPassion of Christ, make me strong.<\/span>
\nO good Jesus, hear me.<\/span>
\nHide me within Your wounds.<\/span>
\nLet me never be separated from You.<\/span>
\nDeliver me from the wicked enemy.<\/span>
\nCall me at the hour of my death,<\/span>
\nAnd tell me to come to You,<\/span>
\nThat with Your saints I may praise you<\/span>
\nForever. Amen<\/span><\/p>\n

Our Father, who art in heaven,<\/span>
