Bacchiocchi says:<\/p>\n

Catholics and Lutherans omits from their listing of the Ten Commandments,\u00a0 the verses of Exodus 20:4-6.<\/span><\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

This is just another piece of misinformation often spread by those who attack Catholicism.\u00a0 It’s not true … something easily verifiable by looking at the\u00a0Catechism of the Catholic Church<\/a>, or examining how the Church divides up the commandments.\u00a0\u00a0EWTN<\/a>\u00a0has a good explanation.\u00a0 I also have\u00a0a piece on my site<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Even the Adventist church’s website has a commentary on it, saying that\u00a0how the commandments are counted is not important<\/a>.\u00a0 After all, the Bible doesn’t supply the numbering, and no Christians use the numbering system used by the Jews.<\/p>\n

This sort of statement by Bacchiocchi brings into question the accuracy of his regular statements on Catholicism, most of which are seriously flawed.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
